69 Elizabeth HAREley
SADLY THIS HARE WAS STOLEN SO UNLESS SHE IS RETURNED WE SHALL BE UNABLE TO AUCTION HER AND THE CHARITY WILL LOSE OUT !!
Very early in the search for pun names we came up with the idea of Elizabeth HAREley and those of us of a certain age will remember Liz Hurley in that iconic little black dress with the Gold Safety Pins.
The wonderful Christopher Cole readily accepted the challenge to create this tribute to her and 'that dress' !!
Ms. Hurley had originally agreed to autograph it but there was a misunderstanding (!!) and sadly she took against it when she saw it and refused to sign it. Maybe a loss of humour or just a bad HARE DAY!
Wouldn't it be fun if Hugh Grant were to discover our elegant Haslemere Hare?SPONSORED byThe Georgian HotelDISPLAYED :

ARTIST DETAILSChristopher Cole website
Christopher Cole is a highly successful artist with over 35 years of professional experience.
Christopher enjoys the challenge of creating an original portrait or painting that will be a work of art to be enjoyed for generations to come.
He specialises in drawing and painting from direct observation, bringing both traditional techniques and contemporary style to his acutely analysed interpretations.
Christopher enthusiastically accepted the challenge to paint a Hog to represent Haslemere's Mayor Sahran Abeysundara (hence the name Serrano - famous for it's Ham !!)
We are truly indebted to Christopher for subsequently agreeing to help us 'immortalise' GraHAM SNORTon, who also agreed to autograph it for us.SUPPORTED CHARITYCompassion in World Farming
